The Glass Academy offers re-invigorated apprenticeships, continuous professional development and career progression opportunities to every employee.
British Glass will also use The Glass Academy to revitalize the apprenticeship model, raising the standard of apprenticeships so that they are seen as a viable alternative to academic study and University.
Its main aim is to ensure the long-term success of the sector, raising workforce skills to meet the challenges of a changing industry. Glass will without question be at the forefront of many technical developments in the coming decades and a well-trained and flexible workforce will be key to the industry’s success glass, ensuring its future.
