PACRIM 10 will take place 2-7 June in San Diego, California, US, and this year will discuss cutting-edge ceramic and glass technology from around the world.
This year’s event will discuss cutting-edge ceramic and glass technology from around the world, and will include the 2013 Glass & Optical Materials Division annual meeting.
PACRIM 10 features over 1,000 presentations covering the breadth of glass and ceramic technology. The event’s preliminary programme is available for download on the website, along with an Itinerary Planner that enables participants to create their own personalized conference schedule.
PACIM10 also includes two Optional Short Courses:
Sintering of Ceramics, 1-2 June, M. Rahaman, Missouri S&T. The course covers sintering basics; microstructure development and control; effect in homogeneities on sintering; constrained sintering of composites, adherent thin films, and multilayers; and more.
Fundamentals of Glass Science and Technology, 5-6 June, A. Varshneya, Alfred Univ. and Saxon Glass Technologies. The course covers basic glass science and technology to broaden one's foundation in the understanding of glass as a material of choice.
