Viracon has reportedly named Kelly S. Schuller as president. Schuller was previously Viracon senior vice president, sales and marketing, and will report to Joseph F. Puishys, chief executive officer of Apogee Enterprises, parent company of Viracon.
“Since joining Viracon last year, Kelly has led development of its strategic plan which focuses on the values that have historically made Viracon a great choice for architecturally-significant commercial buildings, including industry leading quality, new product development, architectural design assistance, and complete and on-time delivery,” Puishys said in the release. “At the same time, he has spearheaded Viracon’s efforts to expand its international presence, and has successfully managed operations of its recently acquired Brazilian subsidiary.
Before joining Viracon, Schuller served as Apogee vice president, strategy and business development for four years, working with Apogee’s executives and board, and was responsible for two architectural segment acquisitions, including the Brazilian architectural glass business. He also worked with Apogee’s three largest business units, including with Viracon on its international operations strategy. Prior to starting with Apogee in 2006, he held operational positions within United Health Group, Innovex and Pillsbury; as well as with McKinsey & Company and Ernst & Young.
