The speciality of Glassman Glass Machinery’s CNC engraving machine is that the spindle and body of the machine are designed to fit the engraving functions. According to the high consumption of the C axis, Glassman has carried out the relative treatment on both the structure and material, also solving functions regarding precise tool feeding. Thanks to the interaction of the PC and System, the processed corners, lines and edges are of the highest precision.
Flexibility of the control system can fulfil the requirement of different products, carrying out all processing work automatically. With the ideal combination of numerical control and PC system, this work centre can carry out the automatic management of the glassworks and is therefore suitable for mass production.
GM-BKH-II is ideal for the processing of decorative glass, furniture glass, artistic glass, etc.
Structure
GM-BKH-II is an open top machine, therefore facilitating glass loading and unloading operations. The bridge, which is equipped with an X axis, is made of structural steel. Movements of the machine are smooth, without shaking, thanks to its rigidity and cast iron head. Moreover, long working life and low noise levels are also ensured thanks to the internal water coolant system.

Work Table
The split-jointed aluminium alloy work table is equipped with a vacuum system, which maintains the position of the glass during processing. Once operations are finished, air is blow over the glass surface, thus facilitating loading and unloading operations, also avoiding damage to the delicate surfaces of special glass types. The surface of the work table is coated with wear-resistant polyurethane.
Glass processing sizes can be increased from 1,500 millimetres x 3,000 millimetres to 2,000 millimetres x 3,000 millimetres with out change in machine size.
Spindle
As for the main parts of the machine, the water, air and electricity supply of the spindle motor are specially studied by Glassman’s experienced engineers.
Working heads can be exchanged so as to carry out edging, and, coordinated with special vacuum cups, provide the machine with multi-functions, thus expanding processing ranges and saving costs for small- to medium-sized companies.
NUM control
Thanks to the use of top-level European NUM control, the machine has a flexible and open system, making human-computer interaction much easier.
Multi-functioned Super CAD/CAM software is developed as per language, and achieves many excellent features, such as optimization of tool orders, automatically choosing the shortest processing route, graphics processing simulation, classifying processing lines, self definition of tool feeding and retracing length, etc.
This updated CAD/CAM software realizes a perfect combination of polishing wheel compensation, both manually and automatically, with the possibility of using the polishing wheels with diameters of up to 100 millimetres.
