After almost 60 years in the glass industry, machinery up and running worldwide, and an extensive range of machinery and service on offer for glassmakers, Falorni Gianfranco founded, in 2015, Falorni Tech. Dedicated to the sector of industrial glassworks, the company is moving and developing fast, with a short-term goal of being present at global level with its avant garde technical plants and machinery.

The company from its roots to the present day
Falorni Gianfranco Srl, located in Empoli, Italy, is, and has been for many years, a well-known and trusted name and brand in the sector dedicated to equipment and machinery for the glass industry. The company was founded in 1958 by Gianfranco Falorni, who started working mainly as a dealer of refractory material, with the aim of supplying the glass sector in the area of Empoli, Valdarno, Val d’Elsa and many more, which, at that time, were home to a large number of production and manufacturing companies.
Over the following 20 years, the company grew and developed, making its name ever more important and well-known in the domestic market of Italy, becoming the trusted supplier of important manufacturers of refractory material, consolidating its position, and becoming a reference point for operators of the sector. At the same time, the company started to provide furnace demolition and construction services, as well as other additional and connected services.
During the second half of the 1980s and the following 1990s, the company underwent an important technical development, thanks, above all to the present-day sole Managing Director Riccardo Scarselli, who started up the activities regarding the design, supply and start-up of complete furnaces equipped with the necessary equipment. In this way, Falorni Gianfranco became a plant engineering company to all effects, working with the glass melting furnace sector.
